Strawberry fields forever

Hello everybody!

Today, I’m going to talk about the experience to grow up in the field. Before I came to live in Santiago, my perception about the people as Chileans was different, because the country people perceive the nation in a different way. I think they are more nationalist, this confuse to me, because I considered that be nationalist to entail be intolerant with the other Chileans that grow up in a City and the foreign.  The nationalist is not a good feel because forget that before be Chileans all are person. For that all have an equal to be listening in our opinions. Is very regular that the country people laugh at when somebody not accord with her way to see the life. Well, not everything is so bad, the people also is honest and warm, but when grow up believe in different things is hard.

In the little towns in the south of this country the vegetarian don’t exist, the culture about to eat the animals is a rule, about this there cannot be the slightest doubt, this sound hard, but is the reality, the animals are bring up with love and dedication but all the time in all conscience that to be eating. I can to notice that this way is terrible but is a part of my life. I think is very good to be the diversity, I can understand two positions; I hope that the all people understand the different ways to live the life.

Silvestre or Wild

Hi teacher and classmate!

I’m going to talk about my uncle, He appear in the photograph. Really he isn’t my relative, the relationship is because my grandma has a cousin, my aunt Teresa, she married with Silvestre, the man on the photo.  

Since I was a child I’m very close to marriage, they don’t have sons, for that reason they feel a special affection for me and I feel the same. They are very interesting, both are history teachers and travel around the world, when I visit them have a long and entertaining conversations. I really love go your house.

Last year my uncle asked my sister and me that we help to buy a computer and then teach computing. My sister doesn’t live in Santiago for that I continue with the class alone. My uncle learned very fast, considering they are 70 years old. The experience was very funny, He loves to discover new things and I enjoyed teach and to share de progress. I have an analogous camera and I took the first photo. I want to register the moment that shows my uncle happy in her notebook. I take the photograph in a late the past year. I like this picture because I love my uncle.

The second photo is a “screenshot” of a conversation that we have in skype, the photo shows that the class was successful.

Students Movement

I believe in education as the way to achieve social equality. This affect me because I think is necessary a better system of education, is necessary equal opportunities and equal terms, because all the people is equal in condition, human condition. All people should have access to education because they would get tools for developing life. Now is necessary a better system of scholarship, is not fair the indebtedness for the education, I think this is a right. For this I went to the march and I try to go all the march and adhere to the strikes is a way to attract attention of the authorities and the community.

I think the government as an immediate step should be to expand the scholarship system and to regulate and to control private university, also change the system to enter at the university. This action would be temporary because what we really need is free education.

The media are important for public opinion for this reason would be good that her more to objective in their information

I think the problem of the environment is as important as education, would be nice if people would realize that. it is good that the citizens are reacting, I hope that education is an issue that matters to all.

Activity

Hi everyone,  

I’m going to talk about our last activity. I like to do it because I learn how to use my time in London as tourist, knowing the main attractive and important places. Also, i realize that London has different zones and the tube has different prices in each one.

Traveling with out information could be so hard, even if you speak the local language. This sites are very helpful, because you can get all the tips that you need to know this amazing city.

But if you analyze just how to do this activity, sometimes it seems a little mechanical, because all the web sites have the same information.  If you visit three of them, you already know what will happen or what you can find in the others. All of them are so similar, because they have information about the tickets and the trips to reach the attractions.

This is my opinion. I like to share it with you.

Youtube

Really, I don`t have a favorite web site, because when I surf in the internet the web sites I visit depend that I have to do. Regularly I visit facebook, gmail, I search all type the information, movies or serial in google, also I visit the page of the newspapers and youtube and read blogs. The ones previously mentioned, I want to write about youtube. In this web site you can find videos that teach you about cooking, playing the flute, making a theremin , also you can find music’s videos, concerts, film’s scenes and funny videos.

I don’t remember when I discovered this page, because it is like it has been in my life forever… jajaja this sounds exaggerate, but is the really.   I visit frequently, every time I to come on my computer I know that I check it. I like me because is interactive, clear and I know that I find what I am looking for. In the last time youtube has become so important that use in the news, I think this is terrible because, for example, I don’t know which the importance in a video that shows two babies to interact. I think this is too much.

City of God

Hi!

 Write about films is very complicated because there are so many good movies. But, I have to choose one… this one is “City of God” I saw it last year in my house with my friend Lucy.  

The film is based on a true story, it happened in a Rio´s dangerous neighbourhood. The principal characters are three boys: Buscapé, Zé pequeño and Bené, they grown up between violence, drugs, poverty, etc. For this reasons, each one, they decide their destiny...

Buscapé tells the story. He doesn’t choose the criminal road like the others characters, he is a photographer and he shows us the movie from his viewpoint.

In this movie plays Alexandre Rodrigues, like "buscapé" (rocket), Leandro Firmino is "Zé pequeño" and "Bene" is Phellipe Haagensen.

The film like me because the story is raw, and show us other realities. Visually is beautiful and the characters are really interesting and convincing. I considered important because the story represent the reality of the Brazilian society and to permit knows how it works the “favelas”

I advise to see the movie, will not be disappointed!

Iguaçu falls

Hi people!

I want to tell about the places I met in my “study tour”, in summer of 2008. The trip was in bus, the destiny was Brazil, for that we went two countries before: Argentina and Paraguay. My favorite place in the tour was Iguaçu falls, but all the trip was amazing, because this experience I could live it with my friends and mates from since childhood. In this place I saw the most beautiful and majestic nature, from animals to waterfalls and plants. Also I went to waterfalls in a boat, I saw so close and could feel the water in my face, really in all my body, met a new animal: Coati, this animal doesn’t exist in this country. The coati is similar to the dog and a squirrel, is really lovely and I walked a through lush hills. Also I taste the typical foods, I ate delicious meats and tropical fruts, I drank fresh caipirinha.

This place i liked because is wonderful, amazing, majestic and was an experience unforgettable, but not just the place people also, this made the trip more fun.
